caleb has two more new teeth! That makes it 8 teeth at 7mths 1 week. wooohooo!
LORD
Thanks for yet another awesome day with my in-laws. Caleb has been behaving really well considering he has been teething the whole time. Thanks for blessing him so, LORD.
I'm praying for Gulu, Uganda, LORD. Also, I ask that you be with all the Colour women praying at this time for this situation. That you help them to stay faithful in prayer no matter what circumstances they are facing in their own lives. Help them to stay focused as we are pass half way now. And the home straight is often the hardest. Renew all our commitment to the children of Gulu LORD. Fill us with your passion and guide our prayers so your will is done.
Since i'm talking about us girls LORD, please be with all the little girls caught in this situation. All the girls that have been traded to the leaders of this war. Please LORD, pour your mercy on to them. Help them to overcome the dire situations they are in. Provide a way out for them to escape and find geniune help. Send them to Watoto LORD, and give them the courage to make the most of any opportunities you provide for them to escape. Help them to recognise these.
Help them to make wise choices even as they have their freedom taken away. Please bless them LORD. These men that are abusing them, bind them up LORD. Or help them to see the evil they are doing, the truth about who they are. Please change them like only you can. Set them free from their sins and help them to turn to you. Give them the strength to do right by these little girls. To follow your way and not the way of this world.
Remove them from their lives LORD. Show them the angels guarding these girls and i pray that the fear of you will be greater than any other desires they have. Show them LORD the consequences of their choices. Show them that you are the God of these girls. That you love them and will not let this go unpunished. Change their hearts LORD.
These young mums LORD. They are in desperate predicaments. Rejected by everyone. Who will help them LORD? Who will rescue them. Let that verse be true for them LORD. They lift up their eyes to the hills, where does their help come from? Their help comes from you LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. You are their Saviour Lord. They are your sheep and no one can snatch them from you.
You send your angels to guard over their steps. The sun will not harm them by day nor the noon by night. You alone are able, LORD. And all things are possible with you. NO weapon formed against them shall prosper. Even though they stumble they will not fall because you uphold them with your right hand.
They can do all things through you who strengthen them. You will not let them be tempted beyond what they can cope with, but you will provide a way out for them so they can stand up under it. Thank you LORD, for your promises. Forgive them their sins LORD and heal their land. Have mercy on your children LORD. Set them free from captivity.
Be the shelter they need against this storm. You laid a table before them in the presence of their enemies, you anoint their heads with oil, their cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow them all the days of their lives. And they will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. In your name Lord Jesus, i pray, amene

I love New York. I love it for alot of reasons. There are so many races, ethnic backgrounds, traditions, cultures---it is such a huge melting pot for the world....I enjoy knowing people...so the people are my favorite part of NY...I love our ability to hang on and overcome. We have blizzards, statewide poweroutages, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, severe heat, unbelievable cold and terrorism. We get up. Our children are killed by gangs, turf wars, drugs, alcohol, their own families...we get up.
We have much in common about the Chinatown and country life. You can be surrounded by nothing but honking horns, cussing mouths, pollution,busy, busy busy--then 20 minutes away----nothing but the birds and fresh air. We have mountains, lakes, oceans, campgrounds, amusement parks, county fairs....you can do just about anything here---even ice fishing!
I am not part of the Big City of New York itself....I live by the capital of NY Albany---a smalltown about 10 minutes from Albany. The city I live in has a lot of history and many famous American history events happened here. I live on a very busy street....day or night you look out and there are cars and people. This is my outreach--this is where the Lord has called me. This is a city full of lost souls struggling to find the way----prostitutes & pimps, drug addicts & dealers, the rapist & the raped, the murderer & the murdered, the gang leader & the gang victim, people dying over money, color, drugs---awful. Children dying at the hands of their parents and parents dying at the hands of their children....Money IS the root my friend Tali. Greed & gotta have are the motives and lifestyle I am trying to bring the Lord to. Don't get me wrong, it is a wonderful city, I grew up here and I am raising my daughter here....I have seen what people deemed "unsaveable" I have seen them saved by the mighty hand of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ....He will come and save them....He is looking for one faithful person.....that is why our church is here! Jesus always shows up where noone else wants to go....doesn't He?
I work full time for a major medical insurance company. The pay is ok--it gets us by---the bills are paid and we lack nothing...I would like more money to give away--but, the Lord has a time and season for everything.
My daughter goes to public school and will be entering the 4th grade this September. She loves to play soccer & basketball...She starts soccer training again at the end of August---she is pretty good. And if you have not guessed it---she loves to swim! Loves water period--any kind anywhere.
Tomorrow is church, can not wait to see my family there. I will put a link on my blog soon so you can visit and see it.....
