prayer - day 13

LORD
help me to pray. Fill me with your Spirit and your words which move mountains and overcome strongholds. Show me how to pray like you Lord Jesus. In the will of your Father.

I love you LORD and I know i live a privileged life. Thank you that your patience is never ending with me. That you've never given up on me.

Thank you for this awesome day which belongs to you. Thank you for renewing my mind about life and death.

I lift up your children to you in Gulu. They are in the front line. Satan is working hard to steal kill and destroy them, but you came that they may have life, to the full. To enjoy their life, the future that you planned for them before they were even born. Fulfil your promises to them please LORD. Rescue your children from situations beyond their control. Restore their innocence LORD so they might enjoy their childhood.

Lift the blindness which covers those that could help them. Help them to see these children as you see them and not as Satan sees them. Not tools for their pleasure and plans, but full of promise and hope - future leaders of Uganda who need to be protected and loved.

You are their God and without you LORD they are lost. They need you desperately to act on their behalf. To send your angels to guard over their daily lives. To fill them with your Holy Spirit so they will be able to choose right over wrong, good over evil. Give them your courage LORD and fill them with your hope. Provide ways for them to escape their circumstances and guide their steps, Lord Jesus.

You love children Lord. You wanted us to be like them. You said woe to any who would lead them astray. These men are doing this Lord Jesus. Please intervene on their behalf. Guide your body as they do your work. Help the church leadership team make wise choices and be discerning about the situations they find themselves in and the people they have to deal with.

LORD fill our prayers with passion, strengthen all the women that are praying now to keep praying for the 40 days. And remove any confusion they might have about this task, in your name Lord Jesus.

Thank you LORD that you come for our words. That you said no weapon formed against us shall prosper. That you will never leave us nor forsake us. That the battle belongs to you. That we will stand because you are more than able to make us stand. That even if we stumble we will not fall for you will hold us in your hand. That your angels will guard over our ways so we will not strike our feet against the stones. That the sun will not harm us by day nor the moon by night. That we wont fear the terror of the night nor the arrow that flies by day because you are our refuge.

That your word is living and active, sharper than any two edged sword, dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. Your word LORD which accomplishes your purpose and does not return to you empty. Your word LORD which we now speak to cover these children. They belong to you LORD. You will not give up and will leave 99 to save 1 lost sheep, Lord.

Save your children now Lord. Take them out of these situations. Help them to find Watoto or those who would geniunely help them.

Change the hearts and minds of those who would harm them and please renew a right spirit within them. We put our trust in you Lord. We look forward to your answers LORD. We look forward to many good reports as your word goes out and achieves your purposes. Thank you LORD in your might name I pray Lord Jesus. amene
