Joel said something else which shows just how positive his view of the world is. He talked about his Father and instead of saying 'since my Father died', he said 'since my Father went to be with the LORD' and I love that.
My Dad went to be with the LORD. I'm never going to say my Dad died. I'm going to say 'my Dad went to be with the LORD' or my child died 'my child went to be with the LORD'. It will help me mourn less and be more positive about their loss.
