LORD
I pray for the Peace talks between the rebel leaders and the govt in northen Uganda. Please let you spirit move amongst them. Fill their hearts with compassion and help them to pursue peace. I don't know how you can create peace with men who have promoted such evil amongst your children. But if there is any good in these men LORD, you will find it. If there is any hope for their spirits then i pray you will move them to do good, to find a way to resolve their issues.
Give the govt LORD a passion for this area, to help the children and pursue a lasting peace. Help them to overcome their differences and unite them in one cause to heal their land and return hope to this area.
LORD, if there are any believers amongst these men. Please fill them with your Holy Spirit, so their words will be full of wisdom and they can find favour with the leaders of both parties. Give them courage to do your will and help them to make wise choices.
LORD only you know what it will take to move this mountain. Only you know what these men desire and how their circumstances can be resolved. Show them the way LORD. Remove the strongholds that bind them, in Jesus' name. Help them to see clearly and give them willing hearts to change and effect change in Gulu.
Thank you LORD. For your unfailing love for us. For your plans that are greater than ours. Thank you LORD that you are in complete control of this situation. Thank you Lord Jesus that you are the way and the truth and the life. All our answers are in you. All our hope is in you. And we wait expectantly for you to rescue your children. In your name amene
