prayer - day 22

LORD
i have had such a busy day only now had a chance to sit and pray to you. Good thing i talk to you all day.

I pray today lots of awesome things happened in Gulu, Uganda, because of your Spirit changing the future. Thank you LORD that your will is being done as I speak. I don't know how you do it LORD but you make the hard seem easy. I have seen you change hearts that were once hardened in the blink of an eye. You remind people how to love and you fill them with compassion for each other. So what seemed like insurmountable differences to us are reconciled with ease.

I know personally this is possible with you LORD. So I believe hearts are being changed. That differences are disintegrating as government and rebel leaders reconcile. That villagers hurt by all the child soldiers are seeing them with your eyes. They are victims too of adults manipulating their innocence for their own good.

LORD surround your children with your angels to guard their steps so that no harm will come near them. That these men will abandon their evil plans as they see your Spirit moving in force.
Help your girls LORD who are being abused by these men. Help them LORD to escape their clutches, to find the Watoto workers or anyone who would geniunely help them. Show them the way LORD, make it so clear to them like the light your are so they will not hesitate.

Help them LORD! They are helpless without you. They need you desperately LORD. Please find a way to save them all, to rescue them. They need to know that you love them. That your promises are true for people like me who live privileged lives and for them. That your plans are not to harm them but to prosper them, to give them a hope and a future.

Fill them with your Holy Spirit LORD, so they can turn to you and seek you earnestly. So you can intervene on their behalf. Rescue your girls LORD. Set them free from Satan's evil plans. Give them back their childhood, shower them with your unfailing love LORD. Rescue your girls LORD.

I know you are more than able, my LORD and Creator. You who made every wonderous thing, who breathed life into our mothers wombs so we might live. You who gave me my 7 mth son, to you I cry out SAVE YOUR CHILDREN. And I wait eagerly to see you at work, knowing you never fail your people, you never fail me.

Every blessing you pour out I'll turn back to praise!!
