Lord

Today has been an extremely testing day. You are nothing like us LORD. You are faithful everyday, loving everyday and you can never betray yourself. Unlike me. I have a mind which runs away and thinks the worse sometimes. It's my mum in me and it drives me crazy.

The great thing about praying for other people is it takes your mind of you. So gratefully today I'm praying for Lionel and Alex. They are one of the coolest couples I know, not just because they are both gorgeous, because we have lots of couples like that in our family, but because they seem to understand each other - and they are only 21!!!! They've been together forever and they just seem made for each other. Thank you LORD for blessing them both.

Keep their love for each other strong please, and help their faithfulness and commitment to grow as they grow together. I know that you could use them to serve you big time. Young people would look up to them and they would be great youth leaders to begin with. If I'm thinking this then I think your plans for them must be even more amazing.

They will be able to achieve anything together LORD, but if they have you as the invisible cord which binds them together then they will achieve even great things. What you want for them is beyond even their dreams. They both know you LORD, and they have a desire to know you more. I ask that you would burn this like a fire in them so that nothing will keep them from building awesome relationships with you.

They have very distinct personalities LORD, help them to know how much you love them, how your plans for them are to prosper and not to harm them, to give them a hope and future. That if they keep their eyes on you all these things you will add to them.

Help them to grow LORD, help them to hear you voice clearly so they will know you will and give them the power of your spirit LORD to succeed and overcome whatever lies ahead of them. In Jesus name I pray. Help us to encourage them and to be awesome examples of your love LORD.

Thank you for protecting them and I pray that you would keep them in the shadow of your wings to give their faith a chance to grow, to keep them from Satan's plans. They are protected by your blood Lord Jesus, by your name which is above all names.

Lord, give Lionel the commitment needed to keep building a personal relationship with you, one on one. Help them to know you more LORD, to recognise the truth, to know who they are in you, and to be full of courage and wisdom.
