my uncle

remember us today LORD. remember my family and have mercy on us. i have been praying all nite and now all there is left to do is put my trust in you. That you have heard our prayers and will remember us.

if you are willing Lord Jesus, a miracle can happen now, and my uncle will wake up full of strength thanks to your life giving blood which you sacrificed for us.

Lord i have been here before praying for my dad and my other uncle. they both died. yet my hope remains in you. for all things are possible in your name Lord Jesus. You have the power to intervene on our behalf.

Holy Spirit, spirit of my beloved Father, fill my uncle's body now with your power and strength. So that he will NOT die but continue to live.

LORD, if it's your will for him to go than so be it. But if their is any chance, anything we can say to sway you so you can fight this battle for him and perform this miracle. If you are willing LORD than I have the faith to believe in you to believe that your healing power is alive today as it was with the disciples and 1st century believers.

You said if we have faith as small as a mustard seed we can move mountains. I'm not asking for a mountain to move but for a life to be saved. For Satan's attacks on my uncle to be defeated in your name Lord Jesus.

You said we could ask for anything in your name. If we remain in you, if we ask with the right motives, if we believe then we shall receive whatever we ask for. If we hold any unforgiveness in our hearts to forgive.

Lord, i forgive whoever has hurt me, i forgive and my conscience is clear that I hold nothing against anyone. I believe and I am asking with the right motives. Imagine the glory you will receive if my uncle lives. Imagine the increase in faith of your children.

So far my family has seen that we cannot pray for sickness and disease to be healed, especially life threatening. But not this time LORD. This time let them see what it means to believe in you.

This time let them soar on wings like eagles, and marvel at your greatness, your faithfulness in answering our prayers. That you are the same today as you were yesterday as you are tomorrow. You do not change - you are still Jehovah Jirah our provider.

LORD i will NOT stop believing in your goodness, no matter how many battles we lose. Because I know you have won the final victory. You have already set us free by dying on that cross for us and overcoming death so we will have eternal life. So by your resurrection you wrote the last page of our story. That you will return and make the LORD's enemies into his footstool, in other words you will trample them under your feet so they can do no more harm.

I will not go quietly into the night while Satan wages a war to steal, kill and destroy us. To deceive us into believing that you don't exist, that you don't care, that you are too weak to help us, that he is greater than you. That this world belongs to him.

He is the king of lies and full of half truths, which he uses to convince us that life is meant to be like this, if we leave him alone he will leave us alone to our comfortable existence, living for ourselves and doing as we please. That's a half truth. Yes we will live comfortable existences, but we will not know the truth, we will not know the way, and will not know life...in abundance, to the full as you have given us. His idea of abundance is nothing compared to yours. An eternity with you, surrounded by the author of love, the maker of all life, the greatest gift we could ever receive. That's what we look forward to as believers, as followers of you.

The real victory is in you LORD. 1,000 years is like a day to you and you do not view us with the days we have on this earth but with eternity in mind. You are the great master planner. So i know I can trust in your promises LORD. That whatever happens you will use for our good because we love you and you have called us according to your purpose.

I will not give up, LORD. You said we would reap if we do not lose heart and grow weary. You said the prayers of a righteous man is powerful and effective. I don't think of myself as righteous but I am righteous in you. You Lord Jesus, have given me this gift through your amazing grace which removes my sins from me and sets me free.

LORD, myles has just texted me to say the family is going in. Please let his next text have good news.

If you are willing LORD, I am willing. But i know this is not about me but about uncle. I pray that he is willing because he is such a fighter. But I will understand LORD if he just wants to be with you. Whatever you think is best LORD. My knowledge is limited to what i know. But I know that you know everything, and your rescue plans are always better than mine.
