joyce's words of wisdom today...

God has such high hopes in us that he was willing to sacrifice his son for you. He has more hope in us than we have in ourselves. He is waiting expectantly for us to fulfil these hopes, more than we wait expectantly for him to fulfil these hopes.

He knows all our days. When he sacrificed his son he already knew how much you would fail, he already knew how much you would sin, how selfish you would be, how angry you would be, how hurt you would be. Yet he still let his son be crucified. He still chose to save you. He still thought you were worth it.

He thinks more highly of us than we do. Because he's our Father, our Creator and he loves us more than we could ever imagine.
