Recently I have heard of a few people gossiping about church. What it doesn't do. What people at church don't do.
Well frankly it pisses me off.
My church is in my heart. This thought opened my eyes to what church is for me.
It is not affected by what church people do or say. Or what people say or do about church people.
No one is perfect. I am not perfect. So I don't expect others to be.
Church for me is about:
- worshipping the Lord
- serving other christians
- fellowshipping with other christians
That's why I enjoy setting up and packing up after church. I don't care if I am the only person doing it. If everyone else is just standing around chatting...trying to connect.

you have a short memory my love. Once a upon a time you were one of these people who were upset because of what people didn't do.
It's easy for you to judge other people harshly because you have had your main desires met at church. Everything else isn't important.
But what about those people who don't even have their top 3 needs met??? They leave and are lost.
If you don't care for the people that are lost, who needs aren't being met then you don't care about what the LORD cares about.
He would leave the 99 to find that 1 lost sheep.
Or it may be just a case of a toe being surrounded by a bunch of fingers and so they would never fit your idea of church but they might fit in another church.
Either case we have a responsibility to help them not judge them. Church leadership has that responsibility because they are the ones the LORD will ask what happened to my sheep.
